Takeuchi was born in Kanazawa of the Ishikawa prefecture in January of 1978.
He graduated from the Osaka University of Foreign Studies (currently known as Osaka University).
After graduating, he engaged in business planning and management, and also worked in promoting global expansion at several Japanese companies.

This is Takeuchi, President and CEO of Washokujob Co., Ltd.

Our company philosophy is to “share delicious Japanese cuisine with the world.”
Founded in 2016, Washokujob’s philosophy is based on two focas points “Washoku x Abroad,” and we offer specialized recruitment services in the Japanese food and beverage industry.
Currently, we have grown to offer our services to over 250 restaurants around the world and 1,500 talented culinary job seekers.
We recognize that this growth is thanks to everyone’s support, and we would like to express our utmost gratitude to you all.

Along with the global Washoku Boom, the number of Japanese restaurants around the world has increased dramatically, and this number only continues to climb.
Personally, as someone who has worked many years in international business, I have experienced the food culture of numerous countries, and I believe that Washoku is something Japan should proudly share with the world. I also firmly believe that Washoku’s presence will only heighten in the years to come.

However, we cannot ignore the fact that the number of Washoku chefs abroad is insufficient to meet the international industry’s critical demand for them. This is why we here at Washokujob strive to foster a future where Washoku can spread even more widely overseas. It is a future we all deeply hope for.

To achieve such a future, we will continue to move forward, meeting reality with our mission to “share delicious Japanese cuisine with the world.”

Worked in consulting and management in corporate planning positions both within Japan and abroad.

Hello. I am Yoshihisa Mine, the Director of Washokujob.
Washokujob was fully established in July of 2017. In December 2013, UNESCO registered “Washoku” as Intangible Cultural Heritage, and since then, Washoku has grown increasingly widespread across the globe. As such, many Japanese businesses and Japanese chefs have been opening restaurants and the like overseas, just as more foreign business owners are opening Japanese restaurants in their home countries. With this transition, many Japanese businesses find themselves wondering: “What type of employees will help my business best succeed abroad?” “Will the hiring process differ from that in Japan?” “What’s the best way to explain and understand visa acquisition?” and other important questions and topics when it comes to hiring Japanese staff for their businesses abroad. To assist with this complex process, Washokujob offers consulting and support, from tackling various countries’ working environments and visa requirements, to finding the best possible talent to staff your business. And for chefs who are hoping to work abroad in the industry, our seminars will explain how to properly prepare yourself for job-searching abroad, as well as how to adapt to the new environment that awaits you. We will also discuss how other countries handle the treatment and preparation of Japanese ingredients.

Geared towards those who own restaurants abroad, we can offer tours/viewings of Japanese restaurants and culinary schools within Honshu. We work with a travel agency who will plan the itinerary, accommodations, etc. There is also English, Chinese, and Russian language support if needed.
