~ To all our users seeking to change their careers ~
Hello. My name is Kuramoto and I’m a team member here at Washokujob.
Today, I’d like to offer all of our users some tips about transferring jobs abroad♪
**First and foremost, in order to legally work abroad, you will need a
After speaking with many hopefuls seeking to transfer abroad, I’m left with the impression that many people might not be aware of the need for a work visa. The application for a work visa does not begin when you initially apply for an open job position, but rather after you have received an official offer of employment. There are many documents necessary in this procedure that will be your individual responsibility in order to ensure you can successfully receive a work visa (except in the case your employment is through a working holiday visa).
**【Examples of Required Documentation】
・Proof of education and graduation
・Original copies of various licenses (chef’s license, etc.)
・Proof of employment provided by previous employers
・Noncriminal certificate provided by a police station, etc.
Additionally, there are various tools that will be necessary for you to properly communicate with those in charge of hiring, such as: LINE, WeChat, and other social networking services, as well as Outlook, Gmail, and Skype.
Aside from their use in communicating with hiring managers, if a candidate is unaware of how to use some of these basic tools, certain employers may see this as grounds for deeming the candidate unsuitable for the position.
Therefore, if you do not currently have an account with some of the above tools, or are unsure of how to use them, we recommend preparing and familiarizing yourself before applying for positions abroad.
Next, I would like to explain how the hiring process works at Washokujob, beginning with how to register with us!
