Malaysia, located in Southeast Asian, has a population of about 31,000,000 people as of 2017. Each Friday, the afternoon is the traditional prayer time for Islam, so many businesses may close early on Friday to respect that. 19% of the population is Buddhist, and while they don't eat beef, it isn't all too strict and varies from person to person.
